Your Social Media Week In Review
Okay, stop yelling at me. Sorry this is my only post this week. I feel guilty as it is. My excuse? It has been nuts! Here let me share my week with you in list form, people like lists:
-Monday I was traveling all day, long story for another day
-On Tuesday I was thrilled to find out I will be a blog partner for Web 2.0 expo!
-On Wednesday I ad the honor of speaking at the Silicon Valley American Marketing Association Entrepreneurial Marketing event. It was a great time with an amazing group. Here is a summary blog post of the presentation done by Crow Digital Media. I also attended a Tweetup in Burlingame that night at Steel head Brewery, what a great group!
-Thursday well I kept getting freaked out on Facebook by this Ad
I mean am I the only one who finds this Facebook ad, well just wrong? I kept looking at the eyes. I don’t even no what the product is they are pushing! Really, am I alone on this?
Okay, enough about me, lets take a look at some of the items I found of interest this past week!

Chris Abraham
-You want to be on the web, your going to start a blog. What are the benefits? How will it help me? Will it do anything for SEO? You bet it will! Check out this great post by Chris Abraham called: The SEO Benefits of Blogger Outreach & Earned Media.

Patrick Kitano
– So some of you may know I have a thing with how news organization use Twitter. It drives me nuts when they just post links like our local fox station KTVU. One company who does it right is NBC with their Today Show feed. (or at least getting better). Patrick Kitano posted NBC4i an Example of a News Org Interacting with their Audience. Its worth a read. Oh and on that note some of the Today Show staff like Ann Curry and Daniel Abrams are on Twitter!
– Oh and Shaq is on Twitter as well, you must read this post about how Shaq posted his location and 2 guys got to sitdown and meet him. Its a great read! Who says there is no use for Twitter? 😉
-Oh and whats a weekly post without mentioning Facebook? Lots of issues with their new Terms Of Service last week, this caused them to change them. You can read all about it here
Alright, thats all I have for now. Have a great weekend!
Congratulations Dave on being selected as a blog partner for the Web 2.0 Expo, and thanks for the link back to my blog too! 🙂
